4. Place the mechanical fuel control lever at the idle position and each control lever at the neutral position;

5. Storage of engine:

a. Drain the cooling water in the engine;

b. Change the engine oil. The new engine oil is generally neutral and will not corrode the metal parts of the engine;

C. Fill the fuel tank with diesel to avoid rusting. Preservatives shall be added if conditions permit;

D. During shutdown, the engine shall be started once a month to drive the machine as a short distance, so as to establish a new oil film at the lubricating place of each part to prevent rust; It should be noted that the cooling water should be filled before starting, and the cooling water should be drained after finishing.

6. Anti rust treatment:

a. Before the construction machinery is stored for a long time, the paint repair method or the whole machine repainting method shall be determined according to the size of the peeling area of the surface antirust paint;

b. For the working device of construction machinery, the rust prevention method for its exposed metal is to apply butter.
